As we reported in the last issue, coffee is becoming increasingly popular in China, especially among young consumers, and the coffee market there is booming.
With a total of 8,530 locations, Shanghai has now catapulted itself to the top of the list of cities with the most coffee shops worldwide, overtaking Tokyo and London. PROBAT is also recording significant project growth in China. After building the largest coffee roasting plant in the People‘s Republic at the time for Kunshan Gold Food Co., PROBAT has now recently installed and commissioned another complete plant for the customer on schedule at the Kunshan City site near Shanghai. What was originally planned as an extension to the existing plant has now become an independent project, with only an empty building at the start. The already defined scope of delivery was also adapted once again according to the customer‘s individual requirements. The fact that the subsequent installation of all system components and the commissioning went so smoothly is due to the exceptionally good cooperation between the project participants from PROBAT and the Chinese representative Fudapack, who had already realized the first Kunshan project in this constellation. With the follow-up project, they have once again demonstrated the importance of teamwork.
Turnkey from a single source: PROBAT engineers precisely match processes and technologies to optimize plant operation for every requirement and on every scale – highest product quality and process safety guaranteed.
